Welcome, and thanks for stopping by Tiroana! I'm Shona, and this space is a genuine extension of my passions and life's work. As a woman, mother, and seasoned aesthetic nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing Science, my 18-year journey has been enriched by meaningful discussions with women aged 25 to 75 about health, beauty, and self-care. These conversations have deeply shaped my approach to supporting and empowering women.

Tiroana draws its name from Shanti (Sanskrit), Respiro (Italian), and Anam (Gaelic), which represent peace, breath, and spirit, perfectly capturing our mission to create a sanctuary where wellness thrives through timeless practices for modern lives.

Over six years ago, meditation became a crucial part of my life to manage anxiety and support my mental health. This transformation led me to gain an Advanced Certificate in Meditation Teaching and pursue a 200-hour yoga teacher training, expanding my expertise in fostering mind-body wellness.

At Tiroana, I am dedicated to teaching and guiding both meditation and yoga, aiming to create a supportive space where everyone, regardless of background or experience, can feel comfortable and nurtured. We offer classes designed to welcome all, promoting consistency and growth in a warm, inclusive environment.
